Boilerplate
One-liner:
Tendlet is one shared care plan for the pets and plants in your home.
Short description:
Tendlet brings species-aware routines, meals, safety notes, records, and household handoffs together. Its growing library of illustrated care profiles helps everyone in the home know what needs attention — without streaks, scores, or guilt.
What makes it different
- Species-specific depth. Researched, cited care profiles — not generic reminders with a pet icon.
- Pets and plants together. One app for the whole household, with shared routines and history via iCloud Family Share.
- No guilt by design. No streaks, no scores, no red badges. Miss a day and the schedule adapts instead of shaming.
- Country-aware safety. Country-aware poison-response guidance is built in, with a verified hotline and one-tap dialing where available.
- Privacy as architecture. Offline-first SwiftUI app on CloudKit. Household data remains private/shared iCloud data; optional Plant Identifier review submissions are consented, deletable, retained for 90 days, and then removed by the next daily cleanup, normally within 24 hours.
Access
The current release has no paid tier, subscription, or in-app purchase. Unlimited folk, household Family Share, sourced species guides, meal-plan editing, the full plant toolkit, themes, alternate app icons, and own-device iCloud sync are included.
The story
Tendlet started with two guinea pigs named Pierre and Omer, two Monsteras that kept getting too dry, and a household where nobody could remember who'd watered last. Quentin wanted a calm place to keep what the household had learned about each one — not an inbox, not a streak. Q10 Labs is a one-person studio in Brussels; Tendlet takes no outside money and exists because its maker wanted to live with it.
